PJSC «Gazprom avtomatizatsiya» and Gubkin University have concluded Agreement for scientific and technical cooperation

From April 25 to April 29 2022 International Forum «Oil and Gas-2022» was being held at the National University of Oil and Gas «Gubkin University» (National Research University named after I. Gubkin) with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. The Forum gathers All-Russian Scientific-technical conference «Actual problems of the development of the oil and gas industry of Russia», Youth Conference and All-Russian competition of Student Scientific Association of the Russian oil and gas industry.   

Within the frames of the International Forum the General Director of PJSC «Gazprom avtomatizatsiya» Nikolay Bobrikov and Viktor Martynov, Rector of Gubkin University enlarged spheres of collaboration and signed the Agreement for scientific and technical cooperation, thus opened new horizons for further mutually beneficial cooperation primarily for quality improvement of targeted training for students and retraining for specialists.    

University students as before could do their production and pre-diploma practical training at PJSC «Gazprom avtomatizatsiya», young specialists of the Company will participate on regular bases in conferences, scientific and practical seminars which take place at Gubkin University. Joint scientific research work is planned to be performed on actual and prospective issues of complex automation, as well as development of a strategy aimed to provide required quality of training for graduates.

As a part of long- term business partnership with Gubkin University PJSC «Gazprom avtomatizatsiya» annually accepts students for production and pre-diploma practical training. In particular within the last 5 years up to 50 students and graduates of the University have done practical training at PJSC «Gazprom avtomatizatsiya». The Company representatives are members of the Examination Board established for holding the State examinations and for protection of graduation works. This approach allows to secure high level training of future specialists for the oil and gas industry. PJSC «Gazprom avtomatizatsiya» is ready to accept Masters and Bachelors at its production facilities for pre-diploma practical training. The Company provides an opportunity to get acquainted with industry specific issues and to obtain practical experience in operation of modern automated control systems.

For its part, Gubrin University has been the main «staff factory» of PJSC «Gazprom avtomatizatsiya» for decades. At present up to 150 University graduates have been working at Production Departments of the Company.

In 2022 PJSC «Gazprom avtomatizatsiya» is an official partner of Forum «Oil and gas-2022» organizers. The Company awards special grants and professional training for the best participants and the winners of competitions.

The leading staff of PJSC «Gazprom avtomatizatsiya» take an active part in all events of the Forum: from participation with reports at Scientific-technical conference and Youth Conference to joint participation in Expert Commissions. For example, they evaluate the competition reports of Student Scientific Association submitted by 13 Technical Universities from all over the country: from Omsk and Kazan to the Far East.
