Factory tests of the telemechanics system of power supply substations for the Amur GPP
27.04.2021
From April 01 to April 08, 2021, factory acceptance tests of the telemechanics system of power supply substations for the Amur Gas Processing Plant (AGPP) were carried out at PJSC “Gazprom avtomatizatsiya” production site in Moscow.
The telemechanics system for power supply substations was developed and manufactured by PJSC “Gazprom avtomatizatsiya” in the shortest possible time based on Russian software and hardware. During the tests, it was confirmed that the technical characteristics and functionality of the system comply with the approved technical specifications, industry requirements and regulatory requirements of the Russian Federation. The system is recommended for shipment and approved for further installation and commissioning at the Amur GPP.
It should be noted that at present, at the first start-up complex of the Amur Gas Processing Plant (the first and second technological lines) and key facilities of the general plant facilities, commissioning of distributed control systems, emergency protection, gas control systems, automatic fire alarm and fire extinguishing system and automated power supply control system is underway. All these systems are manufactured by PJSC “Gazprom avtomatizatsiya” for the “red” chain facilities, which are of great importance for the timely commissioning of the first stage of the plant.
For reference:
The Amur GPP will become one of the world's largest natural gas processing plants. Its design capacity will be 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The plant will consist of six production lines, with the first two scheduled to be commissioned in 2021. In addition to purified methane, the GPP`s commercial products will include ethane, propane, butane, pentane-hexane fraction and helium.
PJSC “Gazprom avtomatizatsiya” is a system integrator, developer and supplier of automation systems, communication systems, metering units and metrological support facilities for the “Unlicensed Installations” and “Offsite Facilities” subprojects.
The investor and customer of the Amur GPP construction project is “Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk” LLC (part of the Gazprom Group). Construction management is carried out by “NIPIGAZ” JSC, the leading Russian centre for design, supply, logistics and construction management (part of the SIBUR Group).
